Education and Work
Experience · PhD or
Master’s degree specialization in statistics/demography. · Minimum 3-5 years of progressive work experience in program implementation with
national/international NGOs and other development organizations. Two years of
relevant experience in managing research, monitoring and evaluation activities
at national/state level is desirable. · Experience
of strategizing and leading research and M&E projects in a large
organizational setup would be preferred. Work experience in consultancy
organizations would be an added advantage. Technical Expertise · Good
knowledge of research methodologies and sampling frameworks and knowledge of
statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, EPI-Info and other software for
qualitative research. · Proficient
in using participatory methods for research and evaluation. · Good
knowledge and understanding of socio-economic issues in India, specifically the
states with low human development indices · Knowledge of
logical framework and other relevant program planning tools. Experience of
developing sound project proposals according to government and international
donor requirements. Competencies · Demonstrates
professional competence and mastery in technical areas · Conscientious
in meeting commitments through effective planning, resource management and
client oriented service delivery. · Effective
communication skills. · Good writing
